Eligibility Criteria

In this section, we are mentioning the UKSEE 2018 eligibility criteria that candidate has to fulfill for filling the application form: Domicile: Candidates, those pass the qualifying examination from other states but have a valid domicile of Uttarakhand state can also apply. Candidates who pass the qualifying examination Uttarkhand Technical Universities/Board can also apply for lateral entry seats. Educational Qualification: B.Tech Lateral Entry: Students must have passed either diploma or B.Sc degree with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories). B.Pharma: Student has to pass the 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects along with one of the Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST students). B.Pharm (LE): Candidate should pass diploma examination with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST category candidates). MCA: Must hold Bachelor’s Degree of 3 years from recognized University. Mathematics at 10+2 standard and graduate level is compulsory. Qualifying exam must be passed with 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category). MCA (LE) for Uttarakhand domicile and Academic domicile only: Pass 3 years of Bachelor’s degree in BCA, B.Sc (IT/Computer Science). Mathematics as a core subject at intermediate level or at graduate level. BHMCT (Hotel management): The prerequisite qualification is 10+2 passed with 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category)

Exam Pattern

Candidates appearing UKSEE exams have to complete their paper in 2 and half hours. As per board law candidate will not give extra time to complete paper. Candidate will ask objective type questions with multiple optional answers for each question. The exam is pen-paper based. In exams Question, the paper pattern will be in OMR form. For each correct answer, a candidate will be given 1 mark. Following detail of the KCET exams, pattern and table are given of subject, no. of the question and maximum marks. Mode of Exam: (UKEE) UTU Entrance Exam 2018 will be a written test exam (Pen & Paper Based). Papers: UKSEE 2087 will be organised for the nine papers with multiple choice questions. Language: The question paper will be asked in English or Hindi language. Marking Scheme: All questions will contain 1 mark for each correct response. Negative Marking: There will be no procedure of negative marking.

Selection Procedure


Admissions would be offered on the basis of merit through open counselling conducted by the university. MAT/CAT/C-MAT scores or any other common entrance exam or the entrance test conducted by the university may be considered as merit for admission and will be decided at the time of advertising for admission by the State Counseling Board.
