Eligibility Criteria

The applicants should have qualified 12th standard exam or equivalent from a recognized board with English as a subject. The applicants should have scored passing marks in English subject. The appearing applicants of a 12th standard can also apply for NCHMCT JEE 2018 (provided they have to submit their proof of qualifying the 12th standard exam along with other eligibility conditions at the time of admission or counseling). The upper age limit for General & OBC applicants is 22 years as on 1st August 2018. The upper age limit for SC/ST is 25 years as on 1st August 2018. All the applicants must have submitted their physical fitness certificate approved by a registered medical practitioner in the specified format as mentioned in the official website.

Exam Pattern

The question paper will be available in English as well as in Hindi. Exam Duration: 3 Hours Marks Given for Each Correct Answer in Reasoning & Logical Deduction, Numerical Ability & Analytical Aptitude, General Knowledge & Current Affairs and English Language: +1 mark For each wrong answer- 0.25 Marks Marking scheme for Aptitude for Service Sector component: For the most appropriate answer- +1 mark; For next appropriate answer- 0.75; For next to next- 0.50. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 mark gets deducted.

Selection Procedure


Admission to first year of B.Sc. Hospitality &Hotel Administration program is strictly based on the All India Rank (AIR) earned by the candidate in the written test of JEE. Ranks are strictly based on the marks obtained by the candidate in written examination. No group discussion or interviews are involved. Counselling involves checking of eligibility of candidates, verification of documents, depositing of counselling and first semester fee and opportunity to opt for choice of Institutes as available at the time of his/her counselling as per his/ her AIR. Candidates should give as many choices after careful evaluation of Institutes based on information available in their respective websites. Allotment of Institute shall be as per merit (AIR) and choice of Institute exercised by the candidate.
