Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the required set of AIIMS MBBS eligibility criteria before applying the exam. The important eligibility criteria for AIIMS MBBS listed below: Educational Qualification Aspirants should have passed 12th or equivalent examination from any recognized board with English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology subjects with obtaining at least of 60% marks for General and OBC category and minimum 50% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OPH category. Applicants, who are appearing in 12th or equivalent examination, are also eligible to apply.
Exam Pattern
The applicants must have qualified 12th standard or equivalent exam from a recognized board. The applicants must have attained the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2018 at the time of admission. Subjects in the qualifying examination should be English & PCB (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) The applicants must have scored 60% aggregate marks in the subjects taken together (50% for reserved categories).
Selection Procedure
Selection will be made entirely on the basis of merit in the entrance examination and the choice of subject will be allocated on the basis of personal counseling. The entrance test for MD/MS will consist of one paper of 180 Minutes duration containing 200 multiple choice questions covering all the subjects taught at M.B.B.S. level. The entrance test for MDS, will consist of one paper of 90 minutes duration containing 90 multiple choice questions covering all the subjects taught at BDS level. There is 1/3 negative marking for every wrong answer in the test.
