Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can fill the application form for ACLAT 2018.You can check below the eligibility criteria as per the programs as mentioned below – Eligibility criteria for BA LLB/BBA LLB –Aspirants who have cleared 10+2 or its equivalent exam from a recognized board with securing at least of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate, can apply for admission to B.A LLB/BBA LLB program. Eligibility criteria for LLM – LLB Graduate/Qualified with BA LLB/BBA LLB degree Eligibility criteria for PhD in Law – Need to have an LLM degree

Exam Pattern

The Alliance University Common Law Admission Test (ACLAT) is being conducted in both online as well as offline modes. The online test comprises of 200 questions and the duration of the ACLAT exam is 2 hours. ACLAT distributed among five sections – English (including Comprehension), General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability), Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. Each correct answer is awarded one mark while for every wrong answer, 0.25 marks each is deducted from the total scored.

Selection Procedure


A high score in CLAT/LSAT/ACLAT* Personal Interview Alliance School of Law, Alliance University also uses other parameters such as scholastic and extracurricular record for admission.
